Telugu actress exposes bitterness for Telugu Cinema

Many of yesteryear divas who hail from Andhra like Mahanati Savitri, Anjali Devi and others had good career in other South Film industries. But that didn’t make them hold bitterness towards Tollywood. Likewise Kamal’s ‘Sagara Sangamam’ heroine Jayapradha too had successful stint in Kollywood, Mollywood and later in Bollywood even.

Jayapradha is no more a hot and happening actress after she plunged into politics and continued there for 16 years. Making a comeback to films, she is producing one Tamil movie, going to act in one Tamil flick and then she has one movie offer each from Bollywood and Malayalam film industry.

She isn’t doing any Telugu films. Being a Telugu lady who was once considered one of the most beautiful and talented heroine of her hay days, Telugu audiences expect her to speak something good about her mother industry. But Jayapradha only has bitterness to spread on TFI.

In one of her recent interview, the yesteryear diva feels sorry that her movies in other languages did well though she is Telugu. Then what about Telugu classics like ‘Sagara Sangamam’, ‘Megha Sandesham’, ‘Siri Siri Muvva’ and many other Telugu classic movies which won her immense fame and made her entry into Bollywood very smooth?
