Telugu box office has been running dry as the audience are simply not stepping out in big numbers to watch film. But the last few weeks have been positive with Peddi and Maa Inti Bangaram working the trick to whatever capacity they could.
And now the discussion is about the two upcoming films that are preparing for release tomorrow and they offer something out of the box.
The first film is Nagabandhanam, which has youngsters in the lead role and it is directed by Abhishek Nama. Going by the promotional material, this film is going to be a big scale mythological film with extensive production values.
In the recent past, Telugu audience have been particularly receptive of quality mythological films that are made on a big scale. This could play into the favour of this film, if it is executed on the right note.
Then we have the case of Rao Bahadur, which has the ever talented Sathyadev in the lead role. This film is promising to be a very peculiar attempt by conventional Telugu standards and it shall be seen what kind of stuff is going to be delivered to the audience.
This film can perhaps not be categorised into a single genre as such as the vibe that we get from the material that has been released till now. But what is for certain is that the entire team is so very confident about the output that they have generated.
