TFF to Satisfy Fund Cravings of T-Film Makers

After the bifurcation of AP and attainment of Statehood, Telangana film Makers are striving for a seperate representative for Telangana Cinema which would represent the culture, history and the regional flavour of Telangana region. Telangana Film activists want to help themselves by setting up an independent body, Telangana Film Foundation (TFF) to finance movies made by film makers of Telangana origin.

Sana Yadireddy, the maker of ‘Pittala Dora’ speaks about efforts to a raise a corpus of Rs.10 crore for the purpose of funding the struggling movies. Any talented film maker whose script is approved by TFF will get help in budgeting, shooting and releasing the film and the film would have the stamp of TFF on its posters.

This way, Telangana film activists want to free Telangana film makers to be free from Andhra financiers who are used to funding majority of the Telugu films being made in Telugu Film Industry. TFF aims to encourage the local talent of Telangana region and hence the activists like Allani Sridhar, Akula Ramesh, Raman reddy and others are working on developing a roadmap for the same so that rich T-entrepreneurs may come forward to invest in films.
