It is well known that Nithiin is an ardent follower of Pawan Kalyan and he tries to emulate the mannerisms of PK in almost every other film of his. This time, he has taken another step forward and used Pawan’s classic title.
At the Amazon event today, it was announced that Nithiin’s ongoing film with Venu Sri Ram under Dil Raju’s production has been titled Thammudu. It was also announced that the film’s post-theatrical rights are with Amazon Prime Video.
“#Thammudu is an emotional story of a brother who goes to any extent to safeguard his sister from multiple challenges in her life. Available post-theatrical release on Prime video” Amazon tweeted a short while ago.
Thammudu is a classic blockbuster of Pawan Kalyan’s and this title is now being used by Nithiin for Dil Raju’s production venture.
Nithiin is indeed in need of commercial success and he has partnered with Venku Sriram of Vakeel Saab fame and gone on to use Pawan’s classic title, which could add to some sort of anticipation. Will this work the trick for Nithiin and co? We will know soon.
