The Funny side of Rajinikanth

In yet another instance of a quiet humbleness shown by Rajinikanth, actress Khushbu revealed that on the sets of 1988 film Dharmathin Thalaivan directed by S P Muthuraman, she had addressed the superstar as ‘vaada’. The film was the debut movie of Khushbu’s and also featured Rajnikanth, Prabhu and Suhasini. This was reported on Koffee with DD which is aired on Vijay TV and Khushbu explained the whole story.

With she being a younger member as well not knowing Tamil, the members of the unit started teaching her wrong Tamil words as a prank. She was apparently taught that ‘vaada’ meant good morning and ‘poda’ means good evening which is the reason she addressed Rajinikanth as such. The entire crew was stunned. Rajinikanth however with his usual good humour took it as a joke and laughed it off.
