It is now loud and clear that The Raja Saab has turned out to be a shocking disaster across the board. While actor Prabhas and director Maruthi have faced heavy trolling and negativity, the truth is that neither of them is the real victim in this situation.
Prabhas has already moved on to his most-hyped upcoming project, Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Maruthi, on the other hand, doesn’t have much at stake anymore-though one could argue that a lifetime opportunity has slipped through his fingers.
The person who has truly taken the bullet is producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad and his production house, People Media Factory. The financial blow from The Raja Saab has hit them the hardest.
We are now seeing top heroes gifting luxury cars and expensive gifts to their directors after successful films. But The Raja Saab presents a very different and far more critical situation. This is a moment that calls for support.
Given his stature, one would expect a massive star like Prabhas to graciously step forward and stand by his producer. Prabhas has, time and again, shown his big heart through generous donations and goodwill gestures. Supporting a producer who has suffered major losses due to his film would truly define him as a real-life hero, beyond the silver screen.
So far, there has been no buzz or indication of such a move. One can only hope that Prabhas will once again show his heart when it matters the most.
