The verdict on Renu Desai’s directorial debut is out

Renu Desai, ex-wife of Telugu star Pawan Kalyan, turned director with the film Ishq Wala Love. This romantic entertainer released in Marathi yesterday and the verdict for the film is out. The critical consensus on the film is that it is strictly an average film with the heroine taking the cake with performance even though it is pretty over the top.

This is in contrast to her production debut which won unanimous positive critical appreciation. It was the success of her debut production that prompted her to make direction debut. Ishq Wala Love is dubbed into Telugu and the makers are planning to release it on upcoming Friday. The unit is going to have an interaction with Telugu media soon.
