They Are Regretting Adjusting Dates for Saaho!

‘Saaho‘ had a huge release in four different languages and it was released in a record number of theatres to ensure that the makers can encash on the craze. Though there is a mixed talk, Bollywood numbers are stunning the Bollywood trade.

Prabhas being a Telugu star, as expected, Telugu is doing fine but with mixed talk. However, there is one industry where ‘Saaho’ has been totally disappointing. In the Tamil Film Industry trade is regretting shuffling the release dates of their straight Tamil movies fearing ‘Saaho’.

‘Saaho’ turned out to be an outright disaster in Tamil from day one. This is the first weekend and it is learnt that the theatres are almost empty. The Tamil trade has missed the extended holiday with the extra benefit of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Especially, Suriya’s movie ‘Kaappaan’ was moved to a later date when September release means, being in the crowd. Hindi & Telugu are fine. Though not great, Malayalam collections aren’t bad but, Tamil collections are a big blow, a big flop indeed.
