Only One Good Option On South OTT This Week

The South Indian OTT space has been running dry of late. There aren’t too many good new arrivals in the recent past. Malayalam cinema has been rolling out good films occasionally like Thallumaala, and Nna Thaan Case Kodu and that’s about it.

As for this week, there is only one good new option for the South audience and that is Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam.

Thiruchitrambalam is a box office success and it is said to be the right kind of film for casual viewing on OTT. It has light-hearted entertainment and subtle emotions. It will stream on Sun NXT from the 23rd of this month.

Apart from that, there is Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger, which doesn’t show much promise. The film will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from the 22nd of September. Then there is Tamannaah’s Babli Bouncer which will arrive on Diseny+ Hotstar on 23rd September.

There aren’t any new outings from the customary OTT favorite, Malayalam cinema this week. So, Dhanush’s Thiru will remain to be the sole good option.
