Indian 2 is scheduled to hit the big screens on the 12th of this month. The film is a sequel to Bharateeyudu which released nearly three decades back. The team, led by Kamal Haasan promoted the film in Hyderabad as well recently.
Coming to the topic, the latest updates are confirming that ticket price hikes have been granted for Indian 2 and the film will release with elevated pricing in Telangana.
The government permitted Rs 236 pricing in single screens and Rs 383 in plexus. The team has decided to go with Rs 225 and Rs 350 pricing respectively. This is a higher than usual pricing for the Shankar directorial.
Indian 2 might be a sequel but the trend of late has been such that high prices are keeping the audience away from theaters. Kalki is a rare exception but it is a mainstream Telugu big event film which helped its cause.
But the slowed-down theatrical trend doesn’t appear to be bothering the makers of Indian 2 as they have indeed gone for elevated pricing in Telangana.
Keeping the impact on the openings, positive talk is very important for the movie to make use of this Price Hike.
