So the result is out, Young Tiger NTR has again delivered the goods with a below-par combination. It highlights his stardom but when it comes to actual numbers and records, the star gets another failure.

Jai Lava Kusa which was expected to create new non-Baahubali record for opening day has failed to do so. In fact, the numbers give an even worse picture. The opening in the Telugu states is sixth-best for Jai Lava Kusa including the Baahubali movies. It is fourth best if one removes Baahubali films.

Jai Lava Kusa has been strongest in Ceeded, Guntur, and Uttar Andhra (despite low number). In all other areas, the film saw sharp drops after a solid opening in the early morning shows. Over expectations and average talk is the reason for that.

Looking ahead all is not bleak for Jai Lava Kusa as it is Dussera holiday season. Today (Friday) would be slightly lower but again Saturday and Sunday are expected to pick up. It is an actually similar trend to Janatha Garage, but it had a better universal talk. Still, more holidays could work in favor of Jai Lava Kusa. Keep checking this space for daily trend.
