Tollywood Biggies Express Solidarity to Special Status

After a lot of criticism, Telugu Film Industry finally moved forward to support the cause of the Special Status which has become a burning issue in Andhra Pradesh for the last one month or so. Some of them have met CM Chandrababu Naidu this morning in Amaravati.

K Raghavendra Rao, Aswini Dutt, Gemini Kiran, KL Narayana, KS Ramarao, T. Venkateswara Rao, and GK have met Chandrababu and expressed the support on the behalf of Telugu Film Industry. They have all come to Chandrababu wearing Black Badges.

It may be known to our readers that TDP MLC Rajendra Prasad called for the industry biggies to come forward to support Special Status or face a social boycott of films in Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that industry is being insensitive to the issues of Andhra Pradesh even though it is drawing a majority of its income from this area. Later actor Posani Krishna Murali attacked the TDP Government politically on the issue.
