Nani’s Dasara breached past the breakeven mark by the first Sunday itself and it is on a very encouraging at the USA box office.
The film has collected a little over $1.8 million till now and it is very well on course to hit the $2 million mark which should be a cakewalk.
The film has been facing competition from Hollywood films like John Wick 4 and Dungeons and Dragons, or else it should have hit the $2M mark already, given the word of mouth in the USA.
While the $2M mark looks certain for now, it has to be seen what will be Dasara’s final number now as the film faces another round of competition from two new Telugu releases this weekend. Meter and Ravansura are releasing this weekend and they will occupy a few theaters.
It has to be seen how Dasara’s US distributor will manage screen sharing now. There are Hollywood films – Air, The Super Mario Bros, John Wick and Dungeons and Dragons, and also two new Telugu films. How much the film will make over $2M will depend on screen management now.
