The top stars in the industry are settled, and each one has a dedicated fan base that comes into power whenever the movies get the right talk. Currently, the real interest is among the second league of stars where all the fun is lying. They have more releases and hence more chopping and changes in the position. We don’t know how the positions will change after the next set of movies. Here is a lowdown on their current status.

The top star of the second league right now is Nani. It is not a position that can be said with confidence, and he is only holding on to it loosely. Previously, there was competition from other stars but right now there is only one in sight, and that is Vijay Deverakonda. The openings are what is keeping Nani ahead of Vijay Deverakonda.

Vijay Deverakonda occupies the second position. He wasn’t in the picture before the current year, but it all changed with multiple releases and the biggest second league success by miles Geetha Govindam. But, it could be a one-off deal, and he might not be able to repeat it immediately. If and when he can repeat it, with consistent openings, Vijay Deverakonda will be unanimous number one. One more year like 2018 is all he needs.

The next three positions are a toss between Varun Tej, Naga Chaitanya and Ram. Among the three, Naga Chaitanya is the leading person, but he has lost the advantage with the debacle of Savyasachi. Still, the openings and better commercial entertainers are lined up for him which helps him stay at the third position.

We are going with Varun Tej at the fourth position as he is a star who is growing with each film. His immediate next might not open big, but his commercial outing will sure get the numbers. The choice of the movies is neatly made so far helping him grow in stardom organically.

Finally, in the fifth position, there is a lot of fight going on. We have gone with Ram who has been consistent and shown the capacity to pull audience both in the Telugu states as well as the overseas. The latter aspect is what gives him the edge over Sai Dharam Tej and others.
