Top star sours relationship with blockbuster director

When you have delivered a blockbuster with a director, you do all that can be done to keep the relationship stable so that the combinations is able to work again. However in the case of this blockbuster combination the relationship has reportedly soured and it’s the actor who is at the losing end.

The combination that we are talking about is of actor Dhanush and director Anand L Rai. They worked together on the film Raanjhanaa that launched Dhanush in Hindi films in great style. It is in fact that biggest hit in the actor’s career so far. But a small unnecessary chopping has now made them avoid each other.

Apparently the actor had shot for a cameo in the director’s last release Tanu Weds Manu Returns. He did so by keeping aside his commitments but eventually the bit part was chopped off from the theatrical version. This has hurt the actor and he is unwilling to entertain the director. This is the reason for the delay in their new film together, sources say. Let’s see how long this face off continues.
