The trailer has less style and packs in more intensity. The latter factor prominently stands out along with the conscious effort to highlight Nana Patekar. But there is an abrupt feel to the cut, and the whole thing comes across as one last attempt to boost the hype. However, the killer punch of Kabali is still missing. It is much needed for the Telugu version compared to the Tamil, though.
