Trisha earmarks the change in Heroine Status

Married heroines Aishwarya Rai Bachan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have marked the changing facet of the acceptance of married heroines by Indian audiences. Former Miss World Aishwarya is also a mother of a three-year old but her craze hasn’t diminished even a bit. Coming to Kareena Kapoor Khan, the actress’ glam quotient seems to have increased manifold after her marriage.

But in South Films, once a heroine’s marriage news starts buzzing, automatically offers start diminishing marking the end of her career as a heroine. Even if she wants to pursue acting after marriage, she has to settle to play character roles not the main lead.

However, things seem to be changing now. Dove-eyed beauty Amala Paul is still doing female lead roles post marriage and Trisha is following suit. In case of Trisha it is entirely different. After her engagement with her boyfriend Varun, offers are pouring in for the actress to play the female lead.

The latest, she is being offered to play the heroine for the remake of Bollywood superhit film ‘Special 26’. This film would be remade into three languages namely Telugu (Ravi Teja), Kannada (Puneet Rajkumar) and Tamil (Jayam Ravi) and in all the three versions, Trisha will be the heroine.
