For a while now, NTR’s fans have been pushing him to work with Anirudh and this finally turned to reality with Devara which hit the big screens today.
Going by the response thus far, Anirudh has absolutely hit it out of the park with his musical work for Devara.
While his audio album is already out in the public and has largely worked, there was a fair bit of emphasis on the BGM which is Anirudh’s forte.
Going by the early response, Anirudh has gone bonkers with the BGM as well. His musical work is being tipped to be the one of the best in recent times and there are countless tweets hyping him up.
Anirudh is widely regarded as a master of BGM when it comes to commercial cinema and he has indeed delivered with Devara this time around. There are a couple of shots including the shark fight sequence in the film that are single handedly uplifted by Anirudh.
For pan Indian action films to work, BGM is of great importance, as was seen in the cases of Pushpa and KGF earlier. This way, Anirudh too appears to have ticked his box.
In the end, listening to fans pleas to bring Anirudh onboard appears to have paid off for Tarak.
