Despite acting opposite promising heroes like Kiran Abbavaram, Neha could not deliver a hit, and a string of flops gradually reduced her chances in Tollywood. This situation pushed her to accept cameo appearances and special songs just to stay visible. Within a span of three weeks, she appeared twice on screen, but unfortunately, neither appearance helped her career much.
Fans had high expectations when they heard she was performing a special song in OG. Many assumed it would be on the level of Pushpa’s iconic Oo Antava. However, when the film released, the song was not even included during the first few days. Even after it was added later, it made no impact. Audiences did not connect with a dance number in a film that primarily revolved around Pawan Kalyan’s emotional journey and pain.
Recently, Neha appeared briefly in Dude, playing Pradeep Ranganathan’s ex-lover who marries another man. While the role fit the story, her fans were disappointed by her limited screen time. Still, none of this can really be blamed on Neha. Without big hits or major-hero projects to elevate her image, she is doing whatever roles come her way to keep her career growing.
Hopefully, directors and producers will soon recognize her talent and offer roles that truly do justice to her talent and glamor.
