Nani is collaborating on ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ with director Vivek Athreya, who earlier worked on his film ‘Ante Sundaraniki’, which earned a section of fans post its theatrical release.
Malayalam music composer Jakes Bejoy composes the music for ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’, and the first song ‘Ullaasam’ is out.
Jakes Bejoy started off with a decently composed but a passable number. As it is, there are no major complaints, but nothing memorable or a chartbuster for music fans. It may work well within the flow of the movie, though it doesn’t have standalone repeat value.
Songs of this type, if they work well in the situation, are good; otherwise, they will be quickly forgotten. Judging by the visuals, it looks like another honest story from Nani, devoid of any commercial formulas.
