Unfair Taunt On Rashmika & Prashanth Neel

Actor cum director Rishab Shetty, the visionary behind “Kantara,” recently shared profound insights at the IFFA54 press conference. Even though he got tempting offers from different languages and big pan-India projects, Shetty firmly said he’s sticking with Kannada films.

He’s really thankful to the Kannada audience for making “Kantara” successful. Shetty made it clear that he’s not like some other Kannada stars who switch industries after just one hit movie.

There’s been talk on social media that Shetty might be indirectly taking a dig at Rashmika Mandanna and Prashanth Neel, who moved to other industries after getting a hit.

While the nation, its audience, and even stars are adapting to a unified Indian cinema, it seems Rishab Shetty is in his own world. It’s essential to recognize that distinctions like Telugu, Kannada, or South cinema are fading, giving way to a broader identity of Indian cinema.

Shetty should understand that taunting actors and technicians who explore opportunities in different industries isn’t fair anymore in this ever-evolving film industry.
