Unfazed Maruthi Moves On To His Next, For A Hat-trick

Trendsetting director with one of the best success rates in the industry, Maruthi is moving to his next venture. It will be with the action hero, Macho Star Gopichand.

The yet-untitled film is Maruthi’s tenth as a director. His last one is Prathi Roju Pandaage which also happens to be his career biggest hit. However, post the sensational success of the Sai Dharam Tej starrer, it hasn’t been an easy road to his next one.

Maruthi has actually planned to team up with Ravi Teja for a movie. It went to the final stages but got dropped in the last minute. Unfazed by the development, Maruthi has moved on and got Gopichand on board. He is making the same subject with him. Today (January 7th), the project is officially launched.

Maruthi10, which is also Gopichand’s29, is said to be a unique commercial entertainer in the director’s typical style. The lead character is reportedly that of a lawyer which is made amply clear by the announcement video.

Geetha Arts 2 and UV Creations, the collaboration which is behind the blockbuster movies, Bhale Bhale Magadivoi and Prati Roju Pandaage is aiming for a hat-trick with the latest film. The first look poster and title will be out soon.
