Unstoppable F2 Turns Threat To Mr Majnu

Two weeks old movies usually don’t pose a threat to new releases. But, here we might witness a unique case. The existing film is going strong, and the new one is getting a limited release.

Mr Majnu is the new release, and it should be taking advantage of being the first release post the long Sankranthi holiday period. However, the movie itself is getting a low release, and the makers are looking at increasing the prints based on word of mouth. It is a good strategy if the talk is positive, but the opening won’t be on the expected level.

F2 meanwhile is simply rocking at the box office and will be the first choice if the talk of Mr Majnu is not as expected. The collections of the Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer have crossed 60 Cr. It is the highest for everyone involved with the project except the producer Dil Raju. In the final tally, even that is likely to be surpassed.
