US BO Pre-Sales: L2 Empuraan Dominates Sikandar

L2: Empuraan is creating a mini storm at the box office even before its release. The Mohanlal-starrer has shattered records for a Malayalam film in North America, collecting $125K in premiere advance sales — the highest ever for a Malayalam film in the region.

In Australia, it has also claimed the top spot with A$71,500 in advance bookings, beating Aadujeevitham’s A$69,594.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s Sikandar is struggling in advance sales. With just 10 days to go, Sikandar’s USA premiere sales have barely crossed $1,000 with around 100 tickets sold.

Adding to the gap, L2 Empuraan is also ahead of Sikandar in BookMyShow likes, showing clear audience preference.

With L2 riding on the success of Lucifer and Mohanlal’s massive fan base, expectations are high for a record-breaking opening. Sikandar, on the other hand, seems to be facing an uphill battle to generate buzz.
