US Expers to tackle Tollywood piracy menace

In India there are a few problems which just don’t go away how much ever we try and piracy is one of them. This piracy in the Telugu film world crossed all the limits when the super hit movie ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ was leaked on the internet even before it hit the screens. Therefore to tackle this problem once and for all, the Telugu film industry has invited two experts from the United States who will provide information on the topic. These experts will have meetings with the AP Film Chamber of Commerce on January 8th and 9th next year where they will provide as much help as possible.

A Raj Kumar, the head of the Anti-piracy wing of the AP Film Chamber, said that the ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ incident acted as a wakeup call for the industry and hence several propositions have been made to tackle the issue. In addition to develop a new system for protecting the content from getting leaked, the Tollywood movie industry has now come up with its own version of a mobile app to get alerts from movie-goers about piracy. We will have to wait and see how these two experts from USA are going to tackle the Tollywood’s piracy issue.
