US BO: Savyasachi Is Second Best

Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Savyasachi’ that was promoted as a different film is in the theatres, now. It is promoted as a film in which the hero suffers from vanishing twin syndrome i.e., the hero shares an aspect of his dead twin and that’s why his left hand acts differently without being in his control. It looked a different one during pre-release promotions.

The first talk on the movie from the US premier shows and the regular shows in the Telugu States is out. The talk on the movie is totally mixed in both the arenas. There is still time to get a clarity on the overall range of the movie and the box-office result of thus Chandoo Mondeti directorial. However, the US premiere numbers are out.

Savyasachi grossed $104,569 from the US premieres, Naga Chaitanya’s second best career’s premiere collections after ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ that has grossed $107,448. Not a disappointing figure. In the life time run, Shailaja Reddy Alludu grossed $426 K. We have to wait and see how far ‘Savyasachi’ can go after the initial talk.
