Uttama Villain enters the competition

As if the already existing competition was not enough another biggie has decided to enter the race at the box office, this Dussehra. The film is nothing but Kamal Haasan’s satire on the film industry Uttama Villain. Shooting of the film has been completed and the makers are now toying with the idea of releasing the film for the festival to cash in on the big holidays.

One can’t say it was unexpected though. So far all the biggies that have been confirmed are from different film industries and only Tamil film industry was missing the fun. Ai (Manoharudu) was the film expected to release for this festival but it looks the movie might get postponed again. To take advantage of that postponement the makers of Uttama Villain have reportedly jumped the gun with their release date.

Bollywood biggie Bang Bang, Aagadu and Govindudu Andari Vadele from Telugu film industry have locked their releases around this festive time already.
