Big Update on Varanasi: Keeravani Confirms BGM Timeline

SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s Varanasi is very much on track. Indicating the principal shooting part is nearing completion, Rajamouli recently confirmed that the film has only around 80 days of shooting left, and it is expected to be wrapped up by September or October 2026.

With production progressing as planned and post-production preparations already underway, Varanasi continues to build excitement as one of the biggest Indian films ever mounted. Adding to the excitement, Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani confirmed that the background score work will begin in September and is expected to take around five months. The update comes as good news for fans eagerly waiting for the film.
