Varun Tej’s films haven’t been doing well for the past many years. All his solo films like Ghani bit the dust. His last film, Gandeevadhari Arjuna, which was released just a few weeks ago was also a resounding flop.
Now he is coming up with another film Operation Valentine which also seems to be on the same lines as Gandeevadhari Arjuna in terms of content and scale.
December is already crowded with many big films scheduled for release. The makers could have chosen a better date other than December 8 for the film to be released.
The not-so-good will of his last film will also hurt the film a bit as the debacle of Gandeevadhari Arjuna would be fresh in the minds of the audience. These two reasons might hurt Operation Valentine’s box office prospects substantially.
Let’s hope post-marriage Varun Tej’s luck changes for the better and Operation Valentine turns out to be a big success for him.
