About Ghani, Varun Tej said this film is a proper boxing drama. “The film has a strong emotional core. The mother sentiment will drive the narrative. We worked really hard on the film.”
About the director, Varun said “Kiran worked on two of my previous films, including Mister, as co-director. I am impressed with this working style. I have given him a token advance for another film. He pitched a couple of stories. We’ll see if I myself will work with Kiran again or if I’ll produce his directorial with some other hero in the lead role.“
