Liger is one of the biggies that has kept quiet ever since the second wave disrupted the plans. It was supposed to hit cinemas this weekend (September 9th). But, as the shoot got delayed, its release too was delayed with it.
During the same period when nothing was happening, a buzz came out that the makers of Liger are approached with a massive OTT deal. However, Vijay Deverakonda was quick to thrash those rumours and promised that he would earn more than theatrically.
Weill, it looks like the time has come to deliver the promise, i.e. come up with a theatrical release date. It will be out tomorrow (September 6th) at 4 PM. There is a buzz that it would be a Diwali release; we have to wait and see if that is the case or not.
