Being an actor and also a promising artist who is in the process of turning himself into a star, he needs a strong support of the ruling party. He literally stunned the viewers when he sky praised Naidu when he was asked to talk about the Chief Minister who he liked. He reminisced the scenario when he was a child how government employees used to feel the sword hanging on their heads because the CM, Chandra Babu Naidu issued strict instructions with regard to punctuality.

Vijay also remembered the growth of Hyderabad as a city during Chandra Babu Naidu’s tenure as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh.
