Vijay Deverakonda Taking A Huge Risk!

The Liger team finally gave a big relief to Vijay Deverakonda fans by announcing two major updates. After much delay, the film is slated for a grand release on August 25, 2022 and A Glimpse Of Madness will be unveiled on December 31.

While the news comes as a celebration for the fans, Vijay Deverakonda, and the makers are taking a huge risk. Wondering how? Since Liger went on floors, it has been three years. The team announced their collaboration back in 2019 and after that pandemic and foreign shoot pushed it back further.

Liger is a commercial movie and the makers right from day one promised that it will be a kick-ass action entertainer giving a paisa vasool for movie buffs. However, with the film releasing in the second half of 2022, it could become stale.

The more the delay for a commercial movie, the higher the chances for the audience to lose interest. And to keep up the buzz and the hype all through until its release could be an uphill task for the makers. Henceforth, while the double announcement comes as a big relief for fans, it is also a big gamble by the makers.
