Kingdom Delayed Again

Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom has been postponed once again—this time to July 4th.

It’s not the first delay the film has faced, and the repeated postponements are beginning to take a toll on its momentum.

Kingdom was initially seen as a promising project due to the hero-director combination and its distinct setting.

The teaser did create some early excitement, but surprisingly, it failed to generate the kind of massive buzz typically expected from a film of this category.

Despite the intrigue, it just didn’t break through in a big way.

Adding to that, the recently released Anirudh song also failed to make any notable impact.

Now, with yet another delay, the already fading buzz around the film seems to be wearing thin.

The bigger challenge now lies in reigniting interest come July.

The film will need to start fresh and rebuild momentum—a tough task given the growing sense of staleness around the project.

It’s especially surprising that, even with a known name like Anirudh associated, the film hasn’t been able to capture significant attention.

Despite everything, Kingdom still holds potential.

But right now, the buzz is lukewarm at best.

It remains to be seen if the team can turn things around in the lead-up to July and recapture the audience’s attention.
