The Superstar Rajinikanth’s next movie Petta is relatively low key currently compared to the recent past films of the star. But, that would be a thing of past pretty soon as more and exciting details about the movie are coming out.

After the release of the first single, Marana Mass, the makers have revealed the first look poster of a prominent upcoming star in the film. It is none other than Vijay Sethupathy. Jithu is the character he plays who looks like a gangster. The colour combination and trademark smile make an instant connect. The shadow of Superstar Rajinikanth image lurking behind in the background is a nice touch.

Check out the image below. Karthik Subbaraju who created an epic gangster drama Jigarthanda is behind Petta. The Kalanithi Maran produced action entertainer stars a considerable number of known faces that includes the likes of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Bobby Simha and Megha Aakash etc. Petta is slated to release for Pongal 2019 in Tamil and a later date in Telugu.
