Vijayawada to get its first five star hotel!

Vijayawada is all set to get its first five star hotel in the coming three years. Currently the city has 11 three-star hotels, which have a combined room strength of 900. Customers have to shell some where around Rs 1,900 to Rs 5,000 for a room in these hotels.

Five major hotel chains keen to set up shop in the city. Novotel in association with the Varun group is leading from the front. The star hotel will come up at Bharati Nagar opposite Loyola College with a budget of 100 Crore.

Marriott, Hyatt, Sheraton, Sarovar and Keyes hotel group are also planning to set up glitzy five-start hotels in the city. While Sarovar, Sheraton, Hyatt and Keyes are scouting for an ideal location, Marriot already finalized on a location and will very soon start the construction.
