Teaser Talk: Free Flowing Mass Outing

Well, here it is, the teaser of the keenly awaited Ram Charan starrer Vinaya Vidheya Rama. The expectations are high on it, as it brings the mass director Boyapati Sreenu with Charan for the first time. And the teaser doesn’t disappoint.

It is a packed teaser at just under fifty second’s duration. All elements of a typical Boyapati Sreenu are in place as one expects. That is therefore not the surprising part, what surprises is the confidence, ease and dialogue modulation of Ram Charan. Clearly, the dialogues here seem to be overdone, but the way they have been delivered makes it work. It is terrific, and fans are sure to go bonkers. The action setting and the background score are all fine for a regular commercial mass entertainer.

Having said all that, it still wouldn’t be a surprise if there are people who might not like it entirely. It is strictly a director’s thing along with the mass genre. One can find it way over the top, but that’s how things are going to be, and its good that the teaser dispels any notions of subtlety on display.
