Post the movie, Rowdy, Manchu Vishnu has once again teamed up with Ram Gopal Varma for a thriller to be produced by Vishnu himself on his banner ’24 Frames’. This will be an interesting project to look forward to because Vishnu and RGV will look forward to a hit after their last film bombed at the box-office.
The movie is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The story is supposedly set against the backdrop of some serial murders which take place in the city. Manchu Vishnu plays a cop who is assigned the responsibility of apprehending the murderer. The titles Tension or 12 are being contemplated for the movie.
Madhu Shalini has been roped in as the female lead and she plays the role of a journalist. Earlier, Madhu made her Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s Department that featured her as a gun moll alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati. Since then she has been a regular in Varma movies, figuring in Bhoot Returns and the Telugu version of Satya 2. Madhu Shalini currently has two Telugu projects on hand, Poga and Happy Journey apart from the current flick with Manchu Vishnu. She will also be seen in a special appearance in Tami movie, Bramman which has Naveen Chandra in the lead role.
