Vishwaroopam 2 release date confirmed

Kamal Haasan’s controversial movie ‘Vishwaroopam’, is soon to release its sequel and it was expected that the release date of the new film would clash with Ajith’s Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla for Pongal in January. However, the filmmakers have confirmed that there will no clash of the sort, and that Vishwaroopam 2, which features actors like Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose will be released in the February of 2014.

The script of the spy thriller has been written by none other than Kamal Haasan and he himself has both directed and co-produced the film. While the film retains most of the original cast, the sequel will be seeing two new faces in the form of Waheeda Rahman and Anant Mahadevan. The distribution of the film in Kerala and Karanataka will be done respectively by Kaleeswari Films and Ganesh Pictures.
