Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan released “Vishwaroopam” trailer in Auro 3D surround sound on his last birthday, and if everything goes as planned, he is likely to unveil “Vishwaroopam 2” trailer on his Nov 7 birthday. According to a source, Kamal has been thinking about releasing the trailer of the sequel on his birthday. It was supposed to be released earlier, but there was some more editing to be made. He is yet to confirm if he will indeed release it on his birthday “Vishwaroopam 2”, Tamil-Hindi bilingual spy-thriller, is written and directed by Kamal Haasan, who also plays the role of Major Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri. The film is also being dubbed in Telugu.
The sequel, which also stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Shekhar Kapur and Andrea Jeremiah, has been mostly shot in India. Veteran Bollywood actress Waheeda Rahman plays Kamal’s mother in the film, which has been produced by Venu Ravichandran. “Vishwaroopam” released after facing a lot of setbacks earlier this year but reportedly minted over Rs.100 crore at the box-office.
In an other news, Kamal will also be acting in a Tamil and Kannada bilingual film titled Uttama Villain that will be directed by actor cum director Ramesh Aravind. It has been reported that the female lead opposite him would be none other than Kajal Aggarwal who is finding tough time signing new movies.
