Comedian Backs Out From Comments on Nayan

When Tamil cinema comedian Vivek said that heroines should attend the promotional event of their films during the audio launch event of Karthi’s upcoming release ‘Kashmora’, everyone would easily relate the comment to the film’s heroine Nayanthara.

Nayan doesn’t have the habit of attending the promotional event of her films, even big films with big heroes. So, Vivek’s comment on heroines was understood as his dig at Nayanthara indirectly because the actress didn’t attend the audio launch event of ‘Kashmora’.

Vivek gave clarity on his comment appealing to media that he didn’t pin-point any one heroine. It was a general statement which was taken in wrong spirit. He also claimed that he is a fan of Nayan and asked people to look at his tweets on Nayan. Do you think people will buy Vivek’s explanation?
