Vishakapatnam will hosting the International Naval Fleet Review-2016’, to be held in February next year. The state government had allocated 73.99 Crore to take up preparatory works for the mega event. Ships and naval officers from 80 countries are expected to participate in the event.

The State government will extend support to the event by by the Indian Navy’s Vizag-based Eastern Naval Command, by maintaining protocol exigencies, security and beautification of the city.
President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Indian dignitaries, along with the Naval heads of the participating nations, are expected to attend the event which was conducted second time by Indian Navy and first time by East Naval Command.
