M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina ahead of the release of his Mazaka starring Sundeep Kishan on 26th of this month.

The director sounded very confident about the film saying the film will be very entertaining and the comedy will be organic.
He also admitted how Double Meaning dialogues will be a part of but assured they do not cross the line.

Mazaka was initially pitched to Megastar Chiranjeevi but it changed hands at the last minute.
“I do not know what changes have been made for Chiranjeevi garu. But the story I know never suits his image,” Trinadha Rao Nakkina said.

He also opened up about the controversy. Trinadha Rao commented about the heroine’s sizes (referring to Anshu).
“I am not such a person. I did not mean it but it happened and I apologized. My family was very disturbed after that. My mother could not recover for more than a week. She told me how I should be careful with my words. I will never make the mistake again,” he said.
Speaking about the remunerations, he said, “It feels funny when someone calls me a 100 Crore director. I charge very little. Still I live in a 2BHK flat in Manikonda. I use a simple car. I did not even have any assets in my native”.
He also spoke about why directors chose not to have writers separately these days, about the comments that Dhamaka was a fluke hit due to Sreeleela, etc.
