Sekhar Kammula‘s Plan For A Film With Chiranjeevi

M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Director Sekhar Kammula to talk about his recent hit film, Kubera. We discussed the Hits and Misses of the film.

Sekhar Kammula explained how he explored the Ultra-Rich (Jim Sarab), Middle Class (Nagarjuna), and the Deprived (Dhanush) through the lens of Greed and Survival.

He also spoke about the idea of God and Religion in the film through – Poster of a Beggar before Annapurna Devi, Villain‘s father offering Diamond Crown to Lord Balaji, Dhanush asking about Days of God to have some Food on that particular day, etc.

We asked him about the possibility of releasing the Director‘s Cut on Netflix.

We discussed in detail about the non-performance in the Tamil market and also if Nagarjuna’s picture on Tamil Posters became counter-productive in those markets.
