In the recent past, whenever Akhil Akkineni is in the news it leaves the fans and casual observers perplexed. It makes one wonder what is happening with Akhil and why can’t things go smoothly related to him.
Currently, there is an issue related to the heroine going on for the Akkineni star. Earlier, it took a long time to get one and now we hear that the selected one has been dropped. The buzz is that Pooja Hegde has been rejected due to high remuneration. A new actress, Ketika Sharma, will replace her.
The producer Allu Aravind’s shrewd businessman-ship is said to be the reason. One can leave that out because a producer got to do what he ought to do to keep the production floating.
In general, too, it is taking a lot of time for the project to sail. Already Akhil is wasting a lot of time in planning and plodding, and these last-minute hurdles are further wasting time. Ideally, Akhil should be taking a leaf out of brother Naga Chaitanya and keep doing back to back flicks. A right project will automatically fall in place.
Akkineni fans who have had high hopes from Akhil have lowered the expectations. We have to see what steps are taken by Akhil to regain their trust and gain momentum career-wise.
