Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with his upcoming film Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vasishta. This movie, being made on a grand budget, is designed as a pan-Indian project.
Initially planned for a Sankranti 2025 release, the film’s schedule has been delayed due to VFX issues, and it is now expected to release in the summer, with April being a likely month.
After Vishwambhara, Chiranjeevi has another promising project lined up with director Anil Ravipudi. This upcoming film is said to be a full-length comedy mass entertainer, with Anil already finalizing the script and receiving approval from Chiranjeevi.
A pooja ceremony for the movie is scheduled for January 15, coinciding with Sankranti, and regular shooting is set to begin in July. We have to wait for the official announcement.
Anil Ravipudi is known for releasing his films around Sankranti, and this movie is also expected to target a 2026 Sankranti release.
Some of Anil Ravipudi’s previous films like F2 were big hits with family audiences, and he is planning a similar script for this project with Chiranjeevi.
The Megastar has praised Anil’s direction and expressed his excitement to work with him again on this fresh concept.
Anil is reportedly planning the shooting schedule in his unique style to complete the film in three to four months.
