The pics that were leaked were clicked when he was shooting for a folk number. This new look has excited his fans as they had already seen him in a different avatar for the same movie.

Leaking pics from the sets of a film is the common strategy the makers of a movie have been using for keeping the fans updated and satiate their hunger for updates.
