When 40 People Went to Rajamouli’s Cancelled Event

In Mumbai, a grand premiere event was arranged a day before the actual release of the movie. Because of the demise of Bollywood senior actor Vinod Khanna, it was canceled at the last moment. Rajamouli along with a 40 member team who went for the premiere show, had to come back.

By then, the film was already in theatres and Rajamouli was anxious about the response of the audiences for ‘Baahubali 2‘. When they went to a multiplex theatre in Mumbai to watch the movie, the sound was too less and half of them were sleeping, as they were tired due to lack of sleep for four days.

Rajamouli was worried and came out of the theater and in the last moments, he went into another theater where the sound was good. There he met the producer’s friend Venkat, a doctor, who was literally shivering with emotion and touched Rajamouli’s hand to show his emotion. That came as a big relief for Rajamouli and he thinks that was the best compliment that came his way right after the release of ‘Baahuali 2’.
