Undoubtedly, Yash Raj Films’ Tiger vs. Pathaan stands as the biggest film in Bollywood’s history, bringing together two colossal stars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, in this SPY universe film.
Pathaan, as a standalone film, collected Rs. 1050 crores. Tiger 3 is also expected to do very well when it releases in November. The next Spy Universe film is going to be WAR 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR.
That film is expected to become the biggest SPY universe film by collecting more than 1200 crores worldwide, as the business coming from South states will be humongous due to the presence of NTR.
So, if the makers want to make ‘Tiger vs. Pathaan’ a bigger pan-India film than WAR 2, they will have to cast a Telugu superstar in the film that can take the franchise to the next level. Will it be NTR who will make an appearance in the film by continuing his role from WAR 2, or will the makers approach any other star hero from TFI?
Shah Rukh and Salman will be fighting with each other in the film, but in the finale, there must be a main villain. Casting a mid-range hero like Vijay Sethupathi or Fahadh Faasil as the villain might not give them that extra mileage. It would be YRF’s masterstroke if they could get a top-tier Telugu hero for the villain’s role. So who will it be?
