The song is a folk song from Kadiri of Anantapur district in Rayalaseema. In fact this song is already used in Sumangali movie in 1940. The movie revolves around the concept of Widow remarriage inspired by Kandukuri Veeresalingam. This is not the first time Pawan Kalyan using a folk song in his movie. His earlier movies, Johnny, Kushi and Gudumba Shankar have folk songs in their ranks.
